Google Earth
It has nothing to do with chess, but this is one of the coolest programs I've ever come across. Have a look. (I've also added it to my sidebar, for future reference.)

I've been playing around with it quite a bit lately. Great program. I thought buying googleearth plus would give me more detailed photos but I can't find any difference between the bought version and the free version. So, I'd advise sticking to the free version and don't shell out 20 dollars to upgrade.

Yep, it's a good programm, though I figured out that the American-cities are much more detailed than the German cities for example. And I couldnt figure out to serach (google [sic!]) for cities by name - maybe I'm just not clever enough :-).

Google earth is lots of fun.

http://www.flashearth.com/ combines the google earth and msn maps and works in your browser. Worth a look too.

helloween, just type in the city (city, country, if it's outside the U.S.) in the "Fly to" space on the upper left when you start the program.

anonymous, those are other sports/convention facilities.

supergrobi, you have a lot more power with Google Earth, but the pictures are the same, yes.
