Chess for Zebras
Jonathan Rowson has written a very interesting new book entitled Chess for Zebras, which I'll review this for Chess Today in the near future. If you're curious about the book (and even if you're not) you can watch a 22-minute video of Rowson introducing the book and presenting one of its positions in some detail - just let your fingers do the clicking.

Howard Goldowsky (mail):
Still trying to obtain a copy of the book in the US... The only place, it seems, to get a copy is via Amazon Marketplace, from a retailer in Maryland. But I don't want to pay the shipping and would like to see the book before I buy it. Distribution of British publishers' books seems to be a problem in the US.

CFZ has gotten a lot of hype and, for God's sake, we adults could use a decent book focused specifically on our improvement. I hope the book delivers.

Dan Schmidt:
I had similar trouble finding it and finally found it at classicalgames.com, although it is at list price and there is a shipping cost.

The book is excellent, and I very much doubt you will be disappointed if you buy it unseen.
