Robson Wins U.S. Junior Championship
Going into the last round of the U.S. Junior Championship, Ray Robson led by a point over his closest pursuer. The bad news was that he was facing him - Salvijus Bercys - in the last round; the good news (for him) is that he had White. The good news proved more important, as he was able to steer the position into a draw very quickly, and as a result the U-20 championship of the U.S. has been won by a 14-year-old.

Final Standings:
1. Robson 6
2. Bercys 5
3. Lenderman 4
4-5. Shankland, Lee 3½
6. Banawa 3
7. Liu 2½
8. Coleman ½
